I provide a place where you can feel safe, secure, and validated, a place where you can truly feel understood, a haven where you don’t have to feel so alone. My career has focused on helping children, teens and adults. My approach has been utilizing my vast experience and eclectic style in providing personalized therapy for teens and adults in attempt to help a multitude of individuals varying in age, culture, and life experiences.
Education and Background
I am a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Mount St. Vincent and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. I have over 8 years of clinical experience working with individuals in various settings such as outpatient clinics, community centers, nursing homes, and domestic violence/sexual assault survivors’ centers. I previously volunteered for the sexual assault hotline for 4 years.
